Folium Melissa officinalis (Labiatae / Lamiaceae) Description: perennial herbaceous plant up to 1 m high, densely branched, dark green and bare top, pale green and underneath, opposite oval, with characteristic lemon smell leaves. Blooms June - September.   Chemical composition: essential oils (citral, iraniol, citronellal, linalool, aldehydes), tannins, resin and bitter substances, enzymes, vitamin C, caffeine, olein and ursolic acid Application: in neuroses, depressions, states of fear, rapid heartbeat, heart disease / tachycardia, heart pain, low blood pressure, sedative and antispasmodic, mild hypnotic. Stimulates digestion, excites appetite, soothes colic. Recommended for nervous weakness, migraine, insomnia, painful menstruation, skin rashes and boils. Stop it Vomiting and winding up in the world.
